Job Title-Software Engineer (.NET Developer)

Day Rate-£300-£350 (Outside IR35)

Location-Remote

Time Zone-EST time zone (Ideally, 1-2 pm to 9-10 pm UK time)

 The .NET Software Engineer is responsible for implementing software solutions of high complexity across the proprietary platform. This role works independently or as part of a team to develop, test, and deploy software, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

 Required Skills

 •Solid understanding of system architecture and software design patterns

•Experience in database development and integration (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL)

•Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills

•Knowledge of Agile development practices and CI/CD pipelines

 Desired Experience

•4–6 years of relevant experience in .NET software development

•Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS)

•Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices

•Exposure to legacy systems and modernization efforts

•Experience in the scholarly publishing or peer review industry
